"The Missing 8" usually refers to one of two distinct media properties released in 2021:

A sequel to the 2013 film On the Job , it follows Sisoy Salas ( John Arcilla ), a corrupt journalist who begins investigating the mysterious disappearance of eight people, including his colleagues.

John Arcilla won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the 78th Venice International Film Festival for his performance.

It was released as a film and also integrated into the On the Job HBO Asia miniseries. 2. The Missing 8 (Anime)

Set in a devastated world inhabited by androids and robots, the story follows an android named Poppy and another named Punkun . Their lives change when a star falls from the sky.

The series was released primarily on the FUZI YouTube channel beginning in late December 2021.
