After he is arrested for selling marijuana to a uniformed police officer—who claimed he’d "had a rough week"—Ned is released from jail only to find his girlfriend has kicked him off their farm and kept his beloved dog, Willie Nelson .

Ned’s "idiocy" isn't a lack of intelligence, but an extreme commitment to and kindness . As he crashes with each sister, his unfiltered truth-telling accidentally wreaks havoc on their carefully constructed (but often dishonest) lives. He exposes affairs, job-related secrets, and relationship tensions just by being himself. The Resolution subtitle Our Idiot Brother
