Meanwhile, Peter and the gang get into some misadventures with Mort Quagmire, who teaches them some of his notorious pickup artist techniques. However, things quickly go awry when Mort's methods backfire, and the gang finds themselves in a series of awkward and humorous situations.
As Quagmire tries to get to know his father, he learns that Mort is in town for a bit of business. Mort explains that he's been working as a motivational speaker, traveling the country and teaching men how to pick up women.
