Risking her "veil of ignorance," Miko decides to help. She notices a spirit—the woman's deceased husband—lingering nearby and pointing to the numbers on her smartphone screen. By "accidentally" showing the correct numbers to the woman, Miko helps her regain a precious memory and a sense of closure. The episode concludes by showing that not all spirits are malicious; some are simply lingering to protect or guide those they loved.
The episode introduces , a classmate of Miko and Hana. Yulia also possesses spiritual sight, but her ability is much weaker than Miko’s; she can only see small, faint spirits and remains completely oblivious to the massive, terrifying monsters that Miko struggles to ignore daily. During gym class, Yulia tries to corner Miko in the school storage room to prove she’s a fellow seer. However, Miko is preoccupied with a truly horrific, large-scale spirit that Yulia can't even perceive. In a moment of panic—and to protect Yulia from acknowledging the monster—Miko accidentally chokes Yulia until she passes out. Both end up in the nurse's office, where Yulia wakes up more convinced than ever that Miko is a terrifying, high-level psychic.
