She pulled the staff across the air as if pulling a giant zipper. A massive seam of light followed her movement, catching the monster's glitching form. Maya gripped her staff tightly. She waited for the monster to lunge again. As it leaped through the air, Maya dashed underneath it, swung her staff, and caught the creature's edge. "Compress!" Maya shouted. The creature screeched as the seam zipped shut,

The monitor erupted in a blinding flash of neon magenta light. Strands of glowing, binary code shot out of the screen, wrapping around Maya’s wrists and ankles like ribbons. She felt a sudden, weightless rush as her physical body dissolved into a stream of pure data.

"A Corrupted File!" Zip warned. "You must use your power to neutralize it!"

The dark void around her suddenly shifted, transforming into a beautiful, glowing digital cityscape of orderly filing systems and bright, flowing rivers of clean data. Maya looked at the glowing cube in her hand, realizing she had just saved both the digital world and her own.
