The neon "S" sign above the U-Bahn entrance flickered, casting a bruised purple light over a group of guys in oversized leather jackets and baggy athletic pants. It’s 1996 in Schöneberg. The air smells like wet pavement, cheap spray paint, and the charcoal from a nearby Döner stand.

Elias sat on the hood of a beat-up BMW, his headphones draped around his neck. The tape hiss of a fresh demo played softly—rough, aggressive, and distinctly Berlin. This wasn't the polished rap coming out of the States; this was the sound of the concrete, the "90er Berlin" that felt like a fortress they were building for themselves.
