In a busy city, there was an old baker named Elias. He was known for two things: the best sourdough in town and his extreme kindness to the stray cats and the "unseen" people of the neighborhood. Every morning at dawn, he would leave a small bowl of milk and a few crusts of bread by the back alley for a limping tabby cat he called Pip.

Frantic and freezing, Julian stepped outside and saw a warm glow coming from the alley behind Elias’s shop. He found Elias and a small group of the neighborhood’s "unseen" folks gathered around an old, wood-fired stone oven that didn't need electricity.
